Mystery Shopping is a service being utilized by millions of companies today! This is not a new thing, Mystery Shopping or "Secret Shoppers" have been around for years, however; major companies are realizing how beneficial Mystery Shopping Services can be and it does not cost them an arm and a leg to have these services performed, so it has become very popular!
Mystery Shopping is where  the "shopper" poses as a customer and inquires about a product or services that the business provides. The "shopper" then remembers in detail the entire experience from start to finish and reports that information from their experience into a data base. After the report is in the data base, the business that hired the shopper will have full access to the information that was reported. It is like giving the owner of his business a second pair of eyes so he/she then can gage employees sales techniques, skills and customer service.

 Another income option is being a Mail Monitoring Agent. This is where you would sign up with a Mail Monitoring Business and retrieve mail from advertisers that is sent directly to your home mailbox. The business's that are using Mail Monitoring Companies are trying to find out:

1) How quickly their mail/product/advertisement gets to the final destination of the addressee.

2) What kind of shape the mail/product/advertisement is in when it reaches the destination of the addressee.

If you sign up as a Mail Monitoring Agent your job will be retrieving mail from your home mailbox every day and entering the mail and data onto the company's site that you are hired with. It typically pays .25 cents per piece of mail and non mail entry as well as $10.00 dollars per month on top of that. .25 cents does not seem like a lot, but after you work for a company for some time you can be retrieving up to 600 pieces of mail per month which adds up quickly. This is a way I am making some extra money on the side as well, I like it because it is a "No Brainer" job that I can do with comfort and ease and am guaranteed some extra income each and every month!


Online Surveys

Taking surveys online is another way to earn money from home! There are many survey companies that are looking for people like you to gather opinions. Most surveys are directed at the consumer to see if their marketing for their product is going to be successful! Other surveys are looking for an age group to target or even a specified area of the world to market too. Surveys are easy, fun and better yet, they even pay you money to take them! They will pay from $1.00 to $25.00 dollars per survey completed! Not bad when you do not even have to leave the house to do complete these.



These are just a few legitimate income opportunities I have found that work.  I think the best thing to do is figure out what you enjoy doing and then go from there and build on those things. Whether you enjoy shopping, surfing online, learning, writing, etc....anyone can take what they might consider a hobby and turn around and make money on it. For now if you do not know what you like or are good at per say, start out with the above suggestions and move on from there! You can stay at home raising your children and make some money on the side!
